Tiffany’s comes back to life with a new Greek menu

Tiffany’s is a name that has been associated with this spot for decades, until it moved on in 2013. With naming rights secured, it returned to Thessaloniki in 2024.

The product is a symphony of a menu that harmonises flavours from Crete, Tinos, Kefalonia, and also London. 3 dishes from the original menu – which generations of Thessalonians grew up on and would queue for – live on in its reincarnation: patates ‘komplé’, stuffed bifteki and filet mignon. You should otherwise expect a fresh and thoughtful portrayal of Greek cuisine that spans from village bourekia of Chania and wild artichokes from Tinos, to Cretan gamopilafo and souvles of the day, viz. kokoretsi and kontosouvli.

Add to that a rich wine menu that features smaller Greek producers, much like 1905, its sister restaurant in London, here. And if the menu itself isn’t music to your ears, a distinctly refreshing and carefully-curated blend in the speakers underlines a rigorous attention to detail that is a running thread: from the tribute to the restaurant’s past, its eclectic menu and wine selection, all the way through to the playful, modern prints and embellished wine glasses.

It also turns out that a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil can completely transform a plate of kokoretsi. Simple, but genius. Or, in the spirit of 1905 - the year of the Theriso revolt - ‘revolutionary.’
